National Day of Listening

StoryCorps has declared Friday, November 28th the first national National Day of Listening in an effort to encourage family members to share their life stories with each other, record them in some way and then share those stories so they live on.The website has sample shared stories and a downloadable guide to help you with your interview.This is something that I plan to do with my 89-year-old grandmother this Thanksgiving.  She always has fantastic stories about her life that I have somehow never heard before.  This time, I will record these stories."Everyone has a story and every life counts."
